Mechanical Engineering

The Department not only offers fundamental theories and analysis techniques in general mechanical engineering, such as mechantronics integration, robot application, materials, design and manufacturing, but also trains excellent mechanical engineers competent in humanities, languages, information technology, and mechanically related industrial knowledge and technology.

Civil Engineering

This department provides fundamental education required for private and public services in civil engineering. Based on the development of national infrastructures and the characteristics of the research topics of the department faculties, the curriculum planning is divided into three aspects: geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, and water resources engineering.

Environmental Science and Engineering

The objectives of the department are to provide students an education in the technology, engineering, and management practices of environmental protection. The discipline focuses on the investigation, analysis, treatment, and planning of environmental protection issues.

Vehicle Engineering

Our motto is “Robust students from a dynamic department.” This department consists of a group of enthusiastic faculty members committed to a continuing pedagogical improvement and mentoring system. We place our main focus on industrial applications supplemented with fundamental research.

Materials Engineering /Advance Material

The educational objective is to cultivate talents with abilities of integrating advanced materials technologies and advanced professional studies. They are expected to play roles of promoting levels of engineering and R&D in international industries and academic fields.

Biomechatronics Engineering

The objective of the department is to educate the student to meet the national policy for promoting and developing biological production, transportation, storage, and processing to develop sustainable systems and use of natural resources.

Soil and Water Conservation

The ultimate goal of the Department is to coordinate the needs of the nation’s hillslope development and disaster prevention; therefore, students are trained with up-to-date techniques and fundamental engineering core abilities. Special projects extending for up to two consecutive academic years are required, and assist senior-year students in gaining hands-on experience.
